For The Record #16 - Apocalypse Now!
For The Record is a monthly storytelling event at The Bearded Lady. Somewhere between sitting cosy on your grandma's knee as she reads to you and cringe-inducing empathy work outs.

Time & Location
08 Sept 2020, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
The Bearded Lady, 138 Boundary St, West End QLD 4101, Australia
About the event
We're here for the real, for the raw, for the (sometimes painfully) honest. Here be true-to-life tales, told by brave storytelling souls. September Theme: Apocalypse Now! It’s the END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT (or…is it?!) For The Record is BACK, baby! Brighter and bizarre-er than ever. We come together once more for tales of the End of Times (maybe) and lots of hilarity (definitely). You know the drill – 6 storytellers, plenty of feels. We’re here to touch each other with our hearts (even if we can’t with our hands). It’s good to be home (even if it’s the apocalypse). Your Storytellers: Kelsey King Lucas Stibbard Lauren Hale Kyle Lazich Phoebe Manning Remi Ren Your chirpy MCs: Siobhan Gibbs and Maja Hanna Liwszyc Doors at 6.30, 7pm SHARP start. $20 + minimum $30 spend at the bar (for food and/or drinks - to be paid on arrival)* - Super limited tickets a likelihood! RE: Restrictions HOWEVER, we are doing it both LIVE and LIVESTREAM! You can tune in via Zoom. (Hosted via the magnificent Cameron Cliff.) Sliding scale Zoom tickets - $5 - $50 Tickets: https://anywhere.is/listings/for-the-record/ (Your money goes towards supporting storytellers in various forms to make stuff) *This is the only way The Bearded Lady can ensure they can be open during these restrict-y times. And we love our Beardo buds! (Plus, they have a fancy new kitchen. Use that mandated barspend to munch on deliciousness whilst feasting on tales) This FTR is brought to you with the kindly support of ANYWHERE THEATRE FESTIVAL. Going well above and beyond to help artsy folks through these odd times. FTR loves you, legends! Want to tell a story? Say so here: ftrstorytelling@gmail.com
